About

Operators, not consultants.

Obrio was born inside our own businesses. We plugged AI into our operations first, then brought it to other small businesses.

Founder, Obrio

Cédric Lavergne is an entrepreneur and operator in Gatineau. With his team and his partner, he owns and runs six real businesses: flooring, property upkeep, snow removal, furniture, catering, a restaurant. That's where Obrio started, by plugging AI into his own operations to stop losing time and money.

Obrio isn't a consultancy. It's a team of entrepreneur-operators who set up and run the very same agents inside other small businesses. The rule is simple: AI amplifies people, it doesn't replace them. A human always has the final say.

The team that operates

Behind Obrio: a small team of entrepreneurs and a partner who brings finance, legal and real-world testing grounds. We stay small on purpose. We actually operate, we don't just advise.

Our 3 pillars

Built on three principles.

Data security

Built to Quebec's Law 25 standard: a high privacy bar that protects clients on both sides of the river. Every agent action is logged and auditable, and your data is not used to train models.

Technology that fits

Agents slot into the tools you already use: email, accounting, POS, CRM. Nothing new to learn.

The human makes the call

Before any action that leaves your business, a person approves it or gets a recap. The final decision stays yours.

Our own proving ground

We prove it in our own businesses first.

No borrowed testimonials. What you see here comes from our own six businesses, our lab. That's where an agent earns its place before we offer it. And it's your own results, measured during your pilot, that prove the rest.

The problemQuote requests sitting unanswered evenings and weekends.
What we plugged inThe Quoting agent, wired to the inbox and the price list.
The resultEvery request is filed and a draft is ready for approval the next morning.
The problemInvoice follow-ups slipping through the cracks.
What we plugged inThe Accounting agent, which catches overdue invoices.
The resultIt drafts the reminder, a human approves, nothing falls through.

FAQ

What you're probably wondering.

Does the agent make decisions without me?
No. Every action that leaves your business (sending an email, approving a transaction, contacting a third party) goes through an approval request to your team. Human-final judgment is the heart of Obrio.
Is my data kept private?
We hold your data to Quebec's Law 25 standard: a data-handling agreement on every deployment, a privacy impact assessment before any transfer, and your operational data is not used to train models.
How long does setup take?
A first pilot is usually live in one to two weeks. The initial diagnosis takes a meeting or two, setup and integration with your existing software takes a few days, and training your team runs alongside the deployment.
Do I need technical know-how?
No. Obrio is fully managed: we handle everything, from setup to day-to-day operation. Your team works with the agents through the tools they already use (Outlook, QuickBooks, etc.).
What if the agent gets something wrong?
Agents never take an irreversible action without human sign-off. If something looks off, our team is alerted and steps in. We also monitor and continuously improve the agents deployed at each client.
Does Obrio work with my current software?
In the vast majority of cases, yes. Obrio integrates with the tools small businesses use every day: Outlook, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Acomba, Slack, Google Workspace, Trello and many more. For specialized software, we check feasibility during the initial diagnosis.
Can I add or drop agents along the way?
Yes. It's modular. Start with a single agent (e.g. Quoting), add more over time, or adjust the scope as your needs change. Pricing follows.
Are there setup fees?
No, $0 setup. You pay the base plan, your active agents and usage beyond the included volume, with a monthly cap. The pilot is paid and framed by goals.
