The cost model of a managed-service AI agent

The cost of an agent vs. the cost of not having one
The real question isn't "how much does it cost?" but "how much is it costing me to do this by hand?"
Take a concrete example with payment follow-ups. A professional-services SMB in Gatineau was sending about 40 follow-ups a month. Each one took an average of 8 minutes to prepare and send by hand (find the invoice, write the email, send it, log the follow-up). Our rule of thumb: if the agent's monthly cost is lower than the cost of the human time it replaces, the deployment pays off. For every client we've diagnosed to date, that threshold is met with the very first agent.
